The wrinkle creams that we find on the market contain chemical ingredients that could damage the skin in the long run, luckily there are also natural wrinkle creams but they usually cost a lot. The best alternative at this point is to prepare ours homemade wrinkle cream using natural ingredients readily available in herbal medicine: the price will be much lower than the products on the market.

Homemade wrinkle cream, skin type
This anti-wrinkle cream is suitable for normal or dry skin, mature skin, sensitive or prone to wrinkles. Conversely, we do not recommend it for women under the age of 25 or those with oily skin.

Homemade wrinkle cream, the ingredients

  • 20 ml of coconut oil
  • 30 ml of beeswax
  • 5 ml of rosehip oil
  • 5 ml of vitamin E
  • 5 drops of geranium essential oil (optional)
  • 5 drops of rose essential oil (optional)

The ingredients we offer are very nutritious and have the property of deeply hydrating, protecting from free radicals and promoting skin regeneration.

Why Vitamin E?
Vitamin E is good both when taken orally and if applied locally, and allows you to better preserve this cream as it acts as a natural preservative. It also has antioxidant and skin rejuvenating properties, as well as protecting against free radicals.

Essential oils
In this recipe, essential oils cannot be missing, which will give a fragrant note and enhance the properties of the ingredients. We specifically recommend that you use geranium, which is also a great skin regenerator, and rose, which will give the cream a fabulous smell and tone the skin.

Homemade wrinkle cream, Preparation

  1. In a glass container put the coconut oil and beeswax
  2. Put it in a bain-marie so that the ingredients mix little by little and mix with the help of a spatula or a wooden, ceramic or glass spoon
  3. Once mixed, turn off the heat and immediately add the rest of the ingredients
  4. Mix well and let cool.

Homemade wrinkle cream, storage
It is advisable to keep the cream in the refrigerator so that it keeps longer. If you live in a warm place or want to store it out of the refrigerator, you can add 10 or 15 ml more beeswax.
On the contrary, if you prefer a more liquid consistency, you can slightly increase the amount of coconut oil and reduce that of beeswax.
